Graph Nodal Displacements
By selecting the 'Graph Nodal Displacements' option, you can view the displacements, or rotations, of any node over the fire period.
To do this:
1. Open the "Results | Graph Nodal Displacements" dialog box.
2. Select the load case and temperature curve that you wish to view the results for.
3. In the 'Output What' box, select the displacements you wish to view. X, Y and Z refer to displacements along the global axes, whilst RX, RY and RZ refer to rotations.
4. Using the mouse, select the nodes you wish to view the results for (e.g. select node 215). The results will be plotted in graphical form in a new window.
5. You may find it more useful to see the results in individual graphs. If this is the case, select the 'charts' and 'by DOF' options and click the button marked 'Excel'. Provided your computer is equipped with MS Excel, the individual graphs for the points you have selected will open in a workbook:
