Output Specification
Now the modelling has ended and the analysis section has been reached.
Firstly, the desired output of the analysis must be given. It should be noted that here, 'output' refers to the on-screen results shown during analysis - Vulcan will output all the results to a file for viewing once the analysis has finished.
To do this:
1. Open the "Analysis | Output Specification" dialog box.
2. Select the 'Displacements' tab.
3. Select the displacements you wish to output from the analysis (in this case, select all the boxes).
4. Select the nodes for which you wish the displacements to be output (select some nodes that you are interested in).
5. Click the 'Add' button. A list of the data to be outputted will appear in the dialog box.
6. Moving through the tabs along the top of the dialog box, simply select a combination of the possible outputs and elements available:
